Getting
Help- Help is available
for any adult who wishes to learn.Tutoring is
available in basic reading, learning to speak English, or improving existing
reading skills. Self teaching computer programs are available for
check-out along with the computer for use in the library. For information on

literacy volunteer! We are looking for individuals with patience,
compassion and a decision to make a real difference in the life of an
adult learner. If you are
interested in volunteering or wish to learn more about the

To be eligible to
volunteer, you must:
- Be 18
years of age.
- Have the
ability to read and write in English.
- Be
willing to commit to tutoring 1 to 2 hours a week for a
year.
- Complete
Huntsville Public Library's tutor training sessions.
